Our Story
From Desh Engineering to STRATUS Consultants.
Founded in January 1994 as Desh Engineering Consultants Limited by a group of highly qualified young Bangladeshi professionals, the firm was incorporated as a limited company with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies, Bangladesh in 2010 and renamed STRATUS Consultants Limited (STRATUS) in 2026.
STRATUS provides technical and management services to all major development sectors — identification, planning, design, implementation, technology transfer, institution and capacity building, outsourcing of professionals and human-resource development for government, private sector and international agencies.
The firm has provided consultancy and survey work to LGED, PWD, RHD, BWDB, WASA, DPHE and many other agencies — and is registered with the Asian Development Bank (CMS No. 019569) and several multi-lateral and bi-lateral development partners.
